Assobiomedica, founded in October 1984, is the Italian National Federation which represents companies operating in the field of biomedical technology, diagnostics, medical devices, and telemedicine.

A. Menarini Diagnostics was established in 1976 by it's mother company, A. Menarini I. F. R. to respond in a complete and competent way to the growing need for diagnostic tests and preventive medicine and has been a member of Federchimica since 1981 and subsequently Assobiomedica.
